We know receiving injectables can be daunting, especially for the first time. We are happy to consult with you in total confidence as many times as you need and there is no obligation to book treatments until you feel completely at ease with your decision. You will be advised on which would be the best course of action but ultimately, you will be the one to choose the areas to have treatments, how much product and taking into account your budget. You will never be given an injection in an area you have not agreed to.

There are a lot of myths surrounding ‘Botox’ injections and many overdone treatments (frozen look), which have put off some people. When the Botulinum toxin treatment is carried out with skill and with a view to maximising your natural looks, the treatment has an effect which will never look like you have had a treatment. Botulinum can also be used as a preventative treatment. As the skin cells renew over a period of time and the treated area has not had to undergo much movement, it will prevent the lines forming.

Dermal Fillers

These are quite a natural way of treating an area where there has been a loss of volume. Naturally-derived fillers (the most widely known is hyaluronic acid) have a much smaller risk of causing an allergic reaction but reactions can occur. Results are immediate but will only last from 3-18 months (occasionally up to two years) because the filler eventually breaks down. Often you will need a follow up within a year to top up the filler.

The type and amount of filler used will depend on the area which needs treating. This will be assessed on consultation as no two people are exactly the same and want or need the same thing. Occasionally, a treatment can involve the use of both botulinum and filler in different areas. All of this would be determined during consultation.
